Ballkick 🔊
Ballkick is a remarkable band that was originally formed in 2017 and underwent a significant transformation during the pandemic lockdown. This period of global crisis served as a catalyst for the band’s evolution, allowing them to redefine their sound and message. Drawing inspiration from renowned bands like Kickback, 25 ta Life, and Madball, Ballkick’s sound is deeply rooted in the hardcore genre. Their music would not have felt out of place at a beatdown-friendly VFW Hall show in the ’90s, a testament to their authentic and raw sound. The band’s commitment to their craft led them to partner with Upstate Records, known for working with bands like Freya and Bovice. This collaboration marked a significant milestone in Ballkick’s journey. In pursuit of perfecting their sound, Ballkick traveled to Katowice, Poland, to record their debut EP, History Makers, at Nest Studio. Working with engineer Tom Bishop, they meticulously crafted each track to reflect their unique style and message. One of the standout tracks from their EP is “Cancel Cop Culture”. This song serves as an excellent introduction to Ballkick’s sound and ethos. It encapsulates the band’s energy and gives listeners a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming EP. Ballkick is more than just a band; they are History Makers in their own right. Their music reflects their journey, influences, and the times they were formed in. As they continue to make music, they carry with them the spirit of the hardcore scenes from which they originated.

Mindpilot 🔊
MINDPiLOT are an alt-rock-improv trio from Peckham, South East London. A sound somewhere between Fugazi, Queens of the Stone Age and Deftones, performed with an ever changing improv-live approach, retaining the unexpected and spontaneous nature of their dark, psychedelic melancholy.

DRVN is an alt-metal/grungegaze band, formed in 2021. Among their main influences, bands such as Paramore, Loathe and Alice In Chains contributed to the band’s sound. They debuted on October 22, 2022 with the first single “DRILL” followed by the second “Through Your Light”, both from the EP “FIGURES” released on December 9 of the same year. They released their latest single “blurred memory” on January 26th 2024.

Superfecta 🔊
Hailing from South London, Superfecta deliver a modern grunge/hard rock sound that draws inspiration from Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Kyuss, Alter Bridge, Velvet Revolver, Tool and Foo Fighters. The band have released two albums to date and numerous singles, with the brand new track “Above” just being released April 2024. The band have toured the UK, Austria, Germany, Russia and will be playing extensively in London and further afield in 2024, with more new tracks and a new album appearing in Spring 2025.

Liliths Army 🔊
Liliths Army are an originals 3-piece group from the UK who draw musical influences from grunge, punk rock, and metal. Their music is described by the UK music press as “ a combination of English Post Punk influences with heavy rock drumming, grunge style guitar, thumping bass lines and dark melodic vocals which produce an original voice on the English music scene”.

Castlecombe Drive 🔊
On the back of some serious praise from DJ legends John Kennedy and Dan Hegarty, Anglo-Irish indie outfit Castlecombe Drive are wasting no time in following up with their new and nostalgic single, World Needs Changing. In a career that’s seen them rock the stages of BST Hyde Park, Shepherds Bush Empire and blasted across the Radio X, RTE 2FM & BBC Radio 6 airwaves, they’ve recently found themselves catching the attention of Irish MMA megastar Conor McGregor, who shared their single ‘Blue Skies ‘ to his 47 million Instagram followers. The band now gears up for the release of their sophomore EP ‘For Better Days’, due for release this coming June. Expect plenty more face-melting riffs, ear-worm melodies, and heartfelt lyrics from Castlecombe Drive for many years to come, as these boys have no plans to slow down.

Cruiser 🔊
Cruiser have released two albums, and two EPs. A new EP is due for release in May 2023. Their first album generated quite a stir on the Bristol music scene and saw Cruiser gain a reputation as a band who could entertain with driving pop-punk, the eponymous album gained rave reviews in the local press. The following year Cruiser released Cosmonaut, their second album, with a mixture of pop-punk and catchy tunes including Cosmonaut, Golden Gate Bridge and Emily. Most recently Cruiser created the Killer Bees EP, this moved the sound on from pure pop-punk to a more rock-punk feel – again well received by fans and reviewers alike.

Basharan 🔊
Basharan just came stomping on the scene with wild guitar solos, angelic harmonies and demonic rhythms. Blending together high energy rock n roll and psychedelia whilst flirting with heavy metal, they captivate audiences with their explosive live performances, delivering an electrifying experience that transcends musical boundaries.

Compound Radius 🔊
Among the rare positives to emerge from the Covid pandemic in 2020 were Compound Radius, a thrilling London band blending rock, funk, folk, soul, electronica, metal and world music. Talk of them has been spreading as rapidly and widely as the virus since.

Hope to see you there!
